  i just saw the advance page for the may 3 texas lawyer, and it looks like the many lawsuits being filed against the wtbts are finally getting some attention:judging amy?.

  jehovah's witnesses sued for allegedly protecting members who abuse.

  after kimberlee norris (left) received some referrals of cases involving alleged abuse by jehovah's witnesses and she enhanced her internet presence, she was staggered by the number of calls she received from would-be plaintiffs, so many that her practice now is exclusively dedicated to molestation litigation.

  Adam lived 935 years why? Is there a master switch to immortality that can be reset,OR is there a lot of little switches that have to be altered?

  Some species of snapping turtles live and still can reproduce at 300 years of age.Elephants live 80 years.What they have in common is a slow metabolism.

  The slower the metabolic rate the longer the life span,one exception to this rule is birds.

  Humans are genetically pre programed to live 120 years,this is estimated to be about 50 cell divisions.At this finite limit the cell runs out of viable DNA lineage.

  Cancer cells and some bacteria are immortal because their DNA is circular.

  The key to their immortality is, a circle has no ends they continue to replicate forever.Our DNA is linear (gets shorter and snipped off at each replication) and comes to an end.

  One important step to immortality or emortality,is find a way to exceed this limit.The only way to beat the system at present,is to slow down the rate of cellular divisions by caloric restriction.This sets the body up from a growth and development profile to a maintenance and repair setting.

  we all have to be careful about how much information we give out over the net,,it is wise and prudent in some areas,, but what about age???.

  now i know many women don't like to admit they are over 29 what do you think is the percentage of correct profiles in reguards to age??.

  Is Watchman guilty of the same "sin"?

  as many of you likely know, the owner of the e-watchman website constantly charges the wts with having committed spiritual fornication with the united nations organization (the so-called ngo affair).

  i would like to ask you all a question in order to find out your opinion as to whether or not watchman has done a near equivalent thing that he charges the wts with having done.

  most of you were probably aware that watchman once advertised the e-watchman site on this site here (jw.com).

  Pioneer School Book

  ever since i was a kid i wanted to be a pioneer and go to pioneer school.

  i remember how every summer a crop of pioneers would come back all excited from the school with a "pioneer book" that no one was allowed to read except pioneers that had gone to school.

  seriously, even as an adult a good friend of mine would not even let me take a peak, as it was taboo.

  Regarding this comment from Scotsman: Sometimes I read things on this site that make me wonder if I was a JW! I don't recall any secrecy around the Pioneer book, nor any pioneers using it as proof of membership of an elite group.

  Thank you for your unpretentious comment.The World Wide Wonder allows for a free and critical comparative exchange of experiences.I too encounter JW's who recoil in disbelief at my horrid stories of all the mean willful bulls**t I have had to endure.I've sojurned in half a dozen congregations in several states,with nearly half a century of exposure.

  There really are some happy contented Jehovah's Witnesses out there.Good for you folks, i wish you healthy and happy, I don't have to be the one to judge you,God is.
